Small Sewer Tile Shoe with Daily and Button Pattern Folk Art Pottery

Miniature shoe of sewer pipe clay with a daisy and button pattern. Probably produced around 1930 if not earlier. This one is signed R U….. on the base, but kiln flaws have obliterated the last name. A piece in Adamson's Illustrated Handbook of Ohio Sewer Pipe Folk Art shows the same form which is stamped "Nelsonville Sewer Pipe Company" but this piece is unsigned.
